Factors Related to Work Performance Effectiveness of Solid Waste Collection Service Workers under Tha Khlong Municipality, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province

This Survey Research by Cross-sectional study aimed to examine work-related factors, fatigue-related factors, work performance effectiveness, and factors associated with work performance effectiveness among municipal solid waste collection workers employed by Tha Khlong Municipality, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. The study population consisted of 144 municipal solid waste collection workers, of whom 20 participants were selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as Chi-square test, Fisher’s Exact Test, and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient.
The results showed that the mean level of work-related factors was moderate (µ = 2.92, SD = 1.17). Fatigue-related factors were predominantly at a moderate level, accounting for 41.0% of the participants. Personal factors, including sex, number of working days per week, number of working hours per day, work experience, and alcohol consumption behavior, as well as work-related and fatigue-related factors, were found to be significantly associated with work performance effectiveness at the 0.05 level.
