Development of a nursing practice model to prevent early postpartum hemorrhage delivery room at Pla Pak Hospital, Pla Pak District, Nakhon Phanom Province.

Abstract

      This research was quasi experiment research. The objective is to develop a nursing practice guideline for prevention of early postpartum hemorrhage in the delivery room and to evaluate the results of using the practice guidelines for prevention of early postpartum hemorrhage in the delivery room at Pla Pak Hospital, PlaPak District, Nakhon Phanom Province and study was divided into 3 steps. The sample consisted of 2 groups as follows: Group 1, a group of 6 professional nurses Group 2: Mothers at risk for postpartum hemorrhage who received services between July 4, 2025, and September 4, 2025, totaling 30 people Personal data of the sample group was analyzed by descriptive data analysis, including mean, standard deviation, and percentage.

      The study results found that the guidelines for preventing postpartum hemorrhage included nursing care during the waiting period, delivery period, postpartum period, and nursing care before transferring to the postpartum ward Professional nurses' opinions on the nursing practice guidelines for preventing early postpartum hemorrhage in the delivery room can be implemented at all stages Can be practiced every time, every item, 100%. The opinions of professional nurses regarding the use of the practice guidelines for preventing early postpartum hemorrhage in the delivery room found that professional nurses have opinions. The satisfaction level of using the guidelines for prevention of early postpartum hemorrhage in the delivery room was at the highest level in every issue (" =5.00, S.D=0.00). The satisfaction level found that professional nurses were satisfied .The use of the guidelines for prevention of early postpartum hemorrhage in the delivery room was at the highest level in all aspects (" =5.00, S.D=0.00).
