Development of PHARMACEUTICAL CARE Program on CLINICAL and HOLISTIC OUTCOMES among SCHIZOPHRENIC PATIENTS in Community Phang Khon Hospital.

This study was an action research aimed at the Development of a pharmaceutical care program on clinical and holistic outcomes among schizophrenic patients in community PhangKhon Hospital. The research was conducted in three phases: Preparation,Implementation, and evaluation. The samples included 70 schizophrenic patients. The research instruments were: Pharmaceutical care program on clinical outcomes and holistic outcomes in community patients with schizophrenia that has been developed, a knowledge questionnaire, a behavior, and clinical outcomes assessment form. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
The results showed that the pharmaceutical care program on clinical and holistic outcomes among schizophrenic patients in community included two main categories: 1) Process of a pharmaceutical care in hospital, 2) Process of a pharmaceutical care in community. The holistic outcomes after receiving the program that; the sample group had knowledge and behavior was significantly higher than before using the program (p<.001) off all, and clinical outcomes that overall adverse drug reactions decreased that 2 level and 1 level change 10.00% and 4.29% respectively.
