Abstract

Objectives: 1) To investigate the current situation of care for pregnant women with hypertension at Ban Mi Hospital; 2) To develop a nursing care model for pregnant women with hypertension; 3) To evaluate the outcomes of implementing the developed nursing care model. This quasi experiment research was conducted from August 2025 to February 2026 in three phases. Sample size were 15 pregnant women to assess feasibility, nursing performance, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-tests.

Results: Nursing performance improved significantly after implementation (total score: pre = 16.5 ± 2.3, post = 23.8 ± 1.5, p<0.05). The feasibility of the model was high (mean = 4.43, SD = 0.95). Nurse satisfaction (mean = 4.21, SD = 0.67) and pregnant women’s satisfaction (mean = 4.39, SD = 0.41) were both high. Clinical outcomes included 1 case of severe complications (6.67%) and 1 case of postpartum hemorrhage (6.67%); there were no unplanned ICU admissions or magnesium sulfate toxicity.
