Factors effecting to drug used behavior among hypertension patients in Mai Ngam Sub-district, Mueang Tak District, Tak Province.

This descriptive research study aimed to study factor associated with drug used behavior among hypertension patients in Mai Ngam Sub-district, Mueang Tak District, Tak Province. Population in this study consisted of 399 hypertension patients in Mai Ngam Sub-district, Mueang Tak District, Tak Province, in fiscal year 2025. Data collected by questionnaires composed of 4 parts; including characteristic, health perception, social support and drug used behavior. In addition to, validity was checked by 3 experts and try out testing reliability by Cronbach’s coefficient alpha about 0.75. Data analyzed using statistical as Pearson product moment correlation coefficient.
The result showed that health perception classified in high level (67.59%) (=3.83, S.D.=0.35) social support classified in high level (95.83%) (=4.23, S.D.=0.69) and drug used behavior classified in high level (=4.35, S.D.=0.415), respectively. An association analyzed found that factor was positively associated with drug used behavior among hypertension patients in Mai Ngam Sub-district, Mueang Tak District, Tak Province with statistic significant including; health perception (r=0.260, P-value<0.001) social support (r=0.249, P-value<0.001), respectively.
