The factors affecting the dental health care behavior in Prathom 4-6 students in Tambon Pon, Amphoe Kam Muang, Kalasin Province

Abstract

This is the descriptive study aiming at studying the factors affecting the dental health care behavior in Prathom 4-6 students in Tambon Pon, Amphoe Kam Muang, Kalasin Province popularizing 154 people. Research conducted by questionaires analyzed by statistics: frequency, percentage, average, mean, max and min, pearson scale.

              Result; Analyzing the relationship between the main factor and other factors and dental care behavior are positively correlated with significant of 0.05 ( r=0.253, p–value = 0.002). Therefore, schools can adopt this research to launch the practice or policy about hygiene activities in schools e.g. Brushing teeth after lunch, oral care, oral cavity self check in order to promote dental care among students. To educate students about oral care and to provide supports from friends, families, and dental staff can prepare students for self-practice in terms of oral care so that they will be healthy and ready for the future.
