The Efficiency of Hospital Financial Management in NongBuaLamPhu Province,Fiscal year 2021-2023

Abstract

     This survey research aimed to study financial management efficiency and factors associated with financial management efficiency of Hospitals In NongBuaLamPhu Province, by fiscal year 2021 – 2023. The sampling included 69 financial management committee of all hospitals in NongBuaLamPhu Province. Data were collected by using financial critical analysis table and questionnaires. Statistical analysis employed percentage, mean, standard deviation, Spear mann’s correlations and Linear Regression.
     The results revealed that no financial crisis in any hospital. Financial management efficiency evaluation results: 7 Plus efficiency score does not pass the criteria. Every hospital has a trend of decreasing income to expense ratio (I/E Ratio), net-working capital (NWC) and net maintenance fund after deducting debt (HMBRD) decreasing. As for the tendency to pass the evaluation criteria, the 7plus efficiency score were slightly better. Perceived of financial efficiencies management activities were founded in high level of all five indices. Structural and organizing factors, Strategic setting factors, operating system factors, financial staff & skill development factors, and evaluations & control factors were founded in high level. Only evaluations & control factors were founded associated with financial management efficiency at statistically significant P-value < 0.01.
