THE SITUATION OF MOTHERHOOD SELF-CARE AFFECT ON CONDITION OF THE NEWBORN IN REGION OF HEALTH 6, 2022.

Abstract

     This survey research with the objective of studying the situation. Motherhood self-care affect on condition of the newborn in region of health6 ,2022. The sample group in the study was early childhood children aged 9 months to 5 years 11 months 29 days and parents or caregivers of children in Health Zone 6, a total of 482 people. Tools used include: Maternal and child health record books and questionnaires for mothers, fathers, or caregivers of children who have a same linaye with children. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. and find the relationship using the chi – square (x²- test)
     The results of the study found that quality prenatal care was completed 5 times according to the criteria. related to infant birth weight* Birth and gestational age at birth are related to Birth weight and postpartum complications of infants* The method of delivery is related to Oxygen status at birth at 1 minute and at 5 minutes* Gestational diseases are related to birth weight and postnatal complications of the baby* Gestational complications are related to birth weight. and the main complications of childbirth* infection during pregnancy of the mother It is associated with complications after the birth of the baby.* Receiving the supplement during pregnancy is related to oxygen status at birth, at 1 minute and at 5 minutes and congenital diseases of newborns* (*=p<0.05).
