Factor association with Herbal Medicine Used Behavior towards Self-care among Elderly in Nakhonthai District, Phitsanulok Province.

This descriptive research study aimed to study factor associated with herbal medicine used behavior towards Self-care among Elderly in Nakhonthai District, Phitsanulok Province. Population in this study consisted of 1,651 Elderly in Nakhonthai District, Phitsanulok Province, in fiscal year 2025. Data collected by questionnaires composed of 5 parts; including characteristic, knowledge, attitude, health perception and herbal medicine used behavior. In addition to, validity was checked by 3 experts and try out testing reliability by Cronbach’s coefficient alpha about 0.815. Data analyzed using statistical as Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The result showed that knowledge classified in high level (84.32%) attitude classified in high level (90.68%) and health perception classified in high level (88.98%), respectively. An association analyzed found that factor was positively associated with herbal medicine used behavior towards Self-care among Elderly in Nakhonthai District, Phitsanulok Province with statistic significant including; knowledge (r=0.158, P-value=0.015) attitude (r=0.334, P-value<0.001) health perception (r=0.125, P-value=0.034), respectively.
