People's Attitudes Towards Traffic Police Bang Phlat Police Station, Bangkok

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the attitude of people towards traffic police. And 2) to compare personal factor with the attitude of people towards traffic police Bang Phlat Police Station, Bangkok. Quantitative research method in this research was the questionnaires collected from Sample groups include 398 people from, out of a total population of 92,325 people. Statistics defined for data analysis were Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation. Data were analyzed using social science software packages.

The study found that; 1. most of the people's attitudes towards traffic police Bang Phlat Police Station Is at a good level ( = 3.78, S.D. = 0.78) and when considering each aspect found that The aspect with the highest average value of the first 4 is the second aspect of knowledge and competency in performing duties ( = 4.17, SD = 1.21) at a good level, followed by the 4th aspect of interpersonal relations. good Was at a good level ( = 3.81, S.D. = 1.05), followed by the first part, the enthusiastic interest of the police in the performance of duties Was at a good level ( = 3.72, S.D. = 0.94), followed by the 3rd side, honesty Moderate level ( = 3.40, S.D. = 0.53)

2. The comparison of personal factors and people's attitudes towards traffic police Bang Phlat Police Station, classified by gender, age, education and occupation, found that the overall picture is not different.
