Abstract

Current development scholars are searching for ways of development called Sustainable development for solve urgent problems of development. In this paper, we have presented a guideline for the development of Buddhism. First, we have presented urgent problems of development are: 1) problems of inequality and poverty and 2) problem of climate change. Second, we have presented solving problems according to Buddhist principles. According to analysis find that, Buddhism responds to problems of inequality and poverty by trying to solve problems individually. But still does not focus on solving problems in social structure. The problem of climate change find that, Buddhism offers a holistic solution to problems and the based on deep ecology that focus on ecology important.
