Abstract

The objective of this research was to experiment with the multicultural education management of different ethnic students in Prathom Sueksa level 1-3 in Ratchaburi province that designed and developed the lesson plans and teaching media on multicultural education using 5-dimension multicultural education of Bank. The samples were 27 teachers and 255 students and selected by multiple random sampling. The instruments were measurement forms for teachers and students, an in-depth interview form, and a classroom-atmosphere observation form. The statistics used in this research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and F-test. 

The results revealed that the design and development of lesson plans and teaching media were set by the researchers. The result of the reliability was .90. Teachers, administrators, and related people made 50 plans and made 20 pieces of 3-language teaching media. The overview of multicultural education showed the dimension of education management of 3 aspects was at quite a high level. The multicultural acceptance of teachers was 85% in the overview. The comparison of the multicultural variety’s acceptance showed that teachers accepted multicultural variety, indifferently, and was 4.70 in the overview. The perception of multicultural atmosphere classified into 6 aspects and its overview was more than 80% at quite a high level. When comparing all aspects of the perception of the multicultural atmosphere, it was different significantly at the statistical level of .05 with 13.33.
