COVID-19 (Coronavirus 2019 หรือ SARS CoV-2) ที่กำลังแพร่ระบาดอยู่ในขณะนี้ มีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อการจัดการของสถาบันการศึกษาทั่วโลก หลายสถาบันพยายามเร่งหาทางออกและมีแนวทางการแก้ปัญหาด้วยหลายมาตรการ เช่น การจัดการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ หรือ e-Learning หรือการเปิดลงทะเบียนออนไลน์ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการนำการเรียนรู้แบบผสมผสานมาปรับใช้กับการจัดการเรียนการสอนในยุคเปลี่ยนผ่านจากการเรียนรู้แบบบรรยายเป็นฐานเป็นการเรียนรู้แบบออนไลน์ในประเทศไทยและการผสมผสานระหว่างครูทั้งสองรุ่น ผ่านการบูรณาการการเรียนการสอนในห้องเรียนกับการศึกษาออนไลน์ กุญแจสำคัญคือการค้นหาเครื่องมือและแนวคิดการทำงานนอกห้องเรียนที่จะช่วยเสริมการเรียนรู้ของผู้เรียนและสร้างสมดุลเวลาในห้องเรียนอย่างเหมาะสมในยุคโควิด-19
