Political involvement in the election in 2019 from undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

This research aims 1) to investigate the involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in members of parliament election in 2019; 2) to compare an involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is member of parliament election in 2019 based on individuals’ factors, and 3) to investigate opinions of individuals in the involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is member of parliament election in 2019. There are 377 students in a sample group, consisting of 6 faculties and 3 colleges: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Faculty of Management Science, College of Nursing and Health, College of Architecture, and College of Innovation and Management. A research instrument was designed in a questionnaire form. The data was analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, F-test (one-way ANOVA), and Least Significant Difference (LSD).
The results of the research showed as follows;
The involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the members of parliament election in 2019 is moderate. The magnitude of involvement ranges from the most involved topics: updates in politics, election voting, political education campaign for the public, and election campaign, respectively.
A comparison of involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is member of parliament election in 2019 based on individuals’ factors finds that 1) genders and ages do not contribute to a difference in opinions of individuals in the involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in members of parliament election in 2019, and 2) years of study and faculties/colleges contribute to statistically significant difference of 0.5 in opinions of individuals in the involvement of undergraduate students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in members of parliament election in 2019.
