Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) explore the administrators’skills, 2) determine the academic administration in schools, and 3) investigate the administrators’ skills affecting academic affairs administration in schools under the ratchaburi primary educational service area office 1. of 123 places, which were obtained at random by stratification. There are 3 information providers per school, consisting of 1 administrator of the school, 1 academic teacher, and 1 teacher. totaling 369, The instrument used for collecting data was a 5 rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.98 The statistics for data analysis were frequencies percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The research findings were as follows:

The administrators’ skills under the office of ratchaburi primary educational service area 1. was at a highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that at the high level of 4 aspects, arranged in descending order of averages as follows: values and ethics of leadership, communication and community relations, policy and governance, and instructional management. And the classification were finding were at the high level in 6 aspect Sort the mean from highest to lowest that: visionary leadership, educational research, evaluation, and planning, organizational management, curriculum planning and development, staff evaluation and personnel management and educational research, evaluation, and planning.
Academic administration in schools under the office of ratchaburi primary educational service area 1. were overall at a highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that at the highest level of 8 aspects, arranged in descending order of averages as follows: school instructional management, measurement, evaluation, and transfer of leaning achievement, development and usage of technology in education, development of the learning process, collaboration in academic development with school sand educational organization, development and promotion of learning resources, educational supervision and development of internal quality assurance system and educational standards. And 2 aspects were at the high level with were; school curriculum development and doing research to develop school learning quality.
The administrators’ skills. Instructional management (X₆), communication and community relations (X₃), curriculum planning and development (X₅), educational research, evaluation, and planning (X₉), values and ethics of leadership(X₁₀), staff evaluation and personnel management(X₇),staff development (X₈), being visionary leadership (X₁) influenced the academic affairs administration in school under the office of ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area 1, they were able to influenced the academic affairs administration in school at 85.8 percent with statistical significance at the .01 and .05 levels. The forecast equations could be written. as follows.
