Academic Risk Management in the spread of COVID-19 situation of Schools the Secondary Educational Service Area office Bangkok 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to identify risks, risk assessment and find a way to academic risk management in the spread of covid-19 situation of schools of the Secondary Educational Service Area office Bangkok 2 (SEAB 2). This research was a descriptive research using a mixed method as qualitative research as documents were verified data analysis and expert interview, and as quantitative research as data were collected from 48 schools where the respondents were school administrators and teachers with questionnaires, confirmed the guidelines by experts, and analyzed by using frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The research result revealed as follows: Risk Management in The spread of COVID-19 situation of schools of SEAB 2 consisted of 4 categories: 1) Strategic Risk were 8 items in a high level of risk--7 items should be risk reduction/control (Treat Risk) and 1 item should be risk acceptance (Take Risk), 2) Operational Risk were 22 items in a high level of risk--21 items should be risk reduction/control (Treat Risk) and 1 item had a risk level in the medium level (Medium) that should be risk acceptance (Take Risk), 3) Compliance Risk were 4 items in a high level of risk--3 items should be risk reduction/control (Treat Risk) and 1 item should be risk acceptance (Take Risk), and 4) Financial Risk consists of 7 items in a high level of risk and should be risk reduction/control (Treat Risk).
