This research applies the use of psychoanalysis theory to construct the evaluations. The study shows that the two films exhibit the image of a family in which possess a state of being “the Other” and undergoing hardship ordeals. From the struggling each family is going through, reveals the uncanny and dark side of even the most loveable members living in the same home. This demonstrates the hidden ideologies and or cultural belief which prevails in society that later affe
