The Indigo fabric information management in Thailand

Abstract
This research aimed to (1) study indigo fabric information management of community enterprise groups and indigo fabric information service centers in Thailand; (2) identify factors that influence indigo fabric information management of the community enterprise groups and indigo fabric information service centers in Thailand; and (3) develop a suitable model for such management and services.
The study employed qualitative methods, with in-depth interviews of 54 administrators and staff in 17 organizations. The instrument was semi-structured in-depth interviews, data was analyzed by using inductive content analysis.
The suitable information management of indigo fabric in Thailand called indigo WORK-NET model was developed based on research finding. The model consisted of Information Management by WORKgroup emphasized on working in collaboration with leader community enterprise NETworks and local information sources to establish standards of community products and develop open data management for an easy access. The indigo information management process consisted of extracting lessons learned from experts, classification of the information by production procedure, collection and preservation of products in digital repository, writing production and distribution manuals, and dissemination of the information via social networking and indigo fabric information sources.
