A Study of Academic Achievement in Information Resource Searching and Bookshelf Organizing of Students in the Digital Library and Learning Innovation Course, Office of Academic Resources, Prince of Songkla University

Abstract
This research aimed to study academic achievement and satisfaction towards teaching and learning in information resource searching and bookshelf organizing of students in the Digital Library and Learning Innovation course. The sample group was 81 undergraduate students of Prince of Songkla University who registered in the free elective course of Digital Library and Learning Innovation. The research instruments consisted of (1) a learning plan on information resource searching and bookshelf organizing, (2) a pre- and post-test for academic achievement, and (3) a satisfaction assessment form for teaching and learning. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research results found that (1) the learninsg achievement in information resource searching and bookshelf organizing of students in the Digital Library and Learning Innovation course after studying was significantly higher than before studying at the statistical level of .05 and (2) Students had the highest overall satisfaction with teaching and learning ( = 4.55, S.D. = 0.66), with the subject objectives having the highest mean (
=4.61, S.D.=0.61), followed by the subject content (
= 4.60, S.D. = 0.63), learning media/resources (
= 4.59, S.D. = 0.64), teaching and learning activities (
= 4.49, S.D. = 0.71), and measurement and evaluation (
= 4.47, S.D. = 0.72), respectively.
