การประเมินมูลค่าของมรดกทางวัฒนธรรม
กรณีศึกษาของวัดในเชียงแสน จังหวัดเชียงราย

งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้จัดทําขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายของประชากรไทยต่อการอนุรักษ์โบราณสถานในเมืองโบราณเชียงแสน จังหวัดเชียงรายผู้วิจัยได้ทําการสํารวจข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้แบบสอบถามจํานวน 480 ตัวอย่างโดยใช้วิธีสมมติเหตุการณ์ (Contingent Valuation Method; CVM) เพื่อศึกษาความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายในการอนุรักษ์วัดโบราณในเมืองโบราณเชียงแสน จังหวัดเชียงราย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ชาวไทยโดยทั่วไปมีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการอนุรักษ์มรดกทางวัฒนธรรมในเมืองโบราณเชียงแสนเนื่องจากผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามส่วนใหญ่ระบุความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเป็นบวกสําหรับการอนุรักษ์วัดโบราณดังกล่าวจากการวิเคราะห์ด้วยแบบจําลองโลจิตพบว่าความเต็มใจจ่ายนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับปจจัยด้านรายได้ เพศ การศึกษาและอายุของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามเป็นสําคัญ ผลของการศึกษานี้จะเป็นประโยชน์สําหรับผู้กําหนดนโยบายในการวางแผนสําหรับการจัดทําโครงการอนุรักษ์โบราณสถานนี้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
