Abstract

This research is aimed at developing a teaching model based on Buddhist approaches to enhance desirable graduate characteristics in morality, ethics and to evaluate the effectiveness of using the instructional model according to Buddhist approaches to enhance desirable characteristics of graduates of Buriram Buddhist college students. The target groups studied in this research were Buriram monks college students, 1st year, academic year 2017, in one course. By using the purposive sampling method. Statistics for data analysis Use descriptive statistics to analyze data by using percentage, mean and standard deviation statistics used to test hypotheses, using tests by testing the differences of 2 groups of learners.
The research found that:
1. From the study of the concept of teaching and learning model according to the Buddhist method, it can develop the teaching model according to the Buddhist way, called the three -fold learning management, namely 1) presumption 2), spiritual thinking and 3) wisdom.
2. The results of the evaluation of desirable graduate characteristics in morality, ethics of the Buriram Buddhist college students were in all 4 areas at a high level When considering each aspect, it was found that responsibility had the highest mean followed by discipline, the least average aspect is honesty. followed by in relation to human relations, respectively, which was at a high level in all aspects.
3. Based on the hypothesis testing of two groups of students (t-test) using the triangular technique (triangulation) for data collection (friends, self-instructors) the students in the experimental group and the control group had different desirable characteristics. When considering each aspect, it was found that the discipline Honesty and human relations There is a different degree of desirable graduate characteristics. Only the responsibility overall, different at the statistical significance level of .05.
