Developing the Teachers’ Learning Leadership Enhancement Program for the General Education Private Schools under the Office of Buriram Provincial Education Office

Abstract

The purposes of this research are study: 1) the current conditions, desirable conditions and 2) develop in teachers’ learning leadership enhancement program for the general education private schools under the office of Buriram provincial education office. This study used qualitative research were 2 phases. The phases, 1) study current conditions and desirable conditions of the teachers’ learning leadership enhancement. The samples consisted of 234 school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was the questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing data were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The second phase was, 2) develop the teachers’ learning leadership enhancement program. Focus group discussion included 7 professionals as informants. The research instrument was the evaluation form. The statistics used for analyzing data were mean and standard deviation.
The results are as follow:
1. Result of the current conditions of the teachers’ learning leadership enhancement program at high level in all items. And desirable conditions of the teachers’ learning leadership enhancement program at high level in all items.
2. Result of the development the teachers’ learning leadership enhancement program include 5 elements, 1) principle, 2) objective, 3) content, 4) procedure, 5) evaluate the program. Content scopes are 8 modules, 1) team learning, 2) using technologies, 3) creative thinking, 4) flexibility, 5) integration, 6) powerful environment for learning, 7) research, 8) innovation for learning. The results for the assessment the suitability and the possibility of the program were suitability and the possibility of the program are at high level. The development of the program may choose to use one course at a time to complete all 8 courses, should the newly appointed teacher or teachers who are ready to be developed first and there are online lessons to be a source of knowledge for others who are interested.
