The String Folk Lyrics of Tai Ethnic Group : An Comparative Study of Lanna Folk Lyrics with Keng Tung State Folk Lyrics

Abstract

The objective of this research were: 1) to study historical background of the Folk Lyrics, 2) compare the characteristics of the composition, the content of Lanna String Folk Lyrics with Keng Tung State Folk Lyrics, 3) to compare the words used and figure of spere in compositing Lanna Folk Lyrics with Keng Tung State Folk Lyrics. Data was analyzed by Descriptive Analysis.         
The research findings were as follow : 1) The researcher collected the data of Lanna Folk Lyrics from documents and researches, Then selected 16 lyrics and there were 5 Keng Tung Folk Lyrics. 2) The characteristics of the composition 5 Lanna string folk lyrics and Keng Tung state string folk are the same. The comparison of the content was stable 1 Lyric and 1 topic is same content. There were 4 lyrics and 4 topics of the string folk lyrics with the same and different contents and 3) The comparative of languages and literary between the two of Lanna Folk Lyrics with Keng Tung State Folk Lyrics in the same Lyrics. 1 Lyric and 1 topic is same content, languages and literary 4 lyrics and 4 topics were both same and different content, languages and literary.
