Abstract
ABSTRACT
The purposes of this research were to 1) construct lesson plans based on project-based learning integrated with sufficiency economy philosophy on the unit of force and motion for first-year vocational certificate students, to meet the defined criteria of 75/75, 2) compare students’ science process skills before and after the intervention, 3) compare students’ learning achievement before and after the intervention, and 4) examine students’ desired characteristics toward the project-based learning integrated with sufficiency economy philosophy. The samples were 21 first-year vocational certificate students from Udon Thani Business Administration Technology College, Udon Thani Province, majoring in Accounting in the Business Administration Program, under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, in the first semester of the academic year 2025, selected using cluster random sampling.
The research instruments included project-based learning integrated
with sufficiency economy philosophy plans, a science process skills test,
a learning achievement test, and a desired characteristics questionnaire.
The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test for Dependent Samples.
The results were found as follows: 1) the constructed lesson plans had an effectiveness score of 78.57/76.99, which met the set criterion of 75/75, 2) the students’ scientific process skills after the intervention were significantly higher than those of before at the .01 level, 3) the students’ learning achievement after the intervention was significantly higher than that of the intervention at the .01 level, and 4) the students’ desired characteristics toward the project-based learning integrated with sufficiency economy philosophy was at a high level (x̅ = 2.83).
