The Approach of Personality Development Based on Buddhist Principles of the Personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives

The aims of this research were: 1) to study concepts, theories and principles of Buddhist in relation to the personality development; 2) to study the problematic conditions related to the personality development of the personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives; 3) to present the approach of personality development of the personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives. The content analysis was then used to describe the data. The aims of this research were: 1) to study concepts, theories and principles of Buddhist in relation to the personality development; 2) to study the problematic conditions related to the personality development of the personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives; 3) to present the approach of personality development of the personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives. The content analysis was then used to describe the data.
The research results revealed that:
1. The research results revealed that the concepts, theories and Buddhist doctrines related to personality development have the same emphasis on behavior development, which is the basis affecting the behaviors expressed as the personality within the mind; lifestyle based on the precepts and social regulation. This leads to positive physical and mental expressions, beneficial to oneself and others.
2. In regards to the problematic conditions related to the personality development of the personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives, it is found that some personnel did not take care of their health, did not dress the bank uniform and some were unfriendly, uncommunicative, inattentive, dishonest, impolite, not deductive, unmitigated and lacked of emotional control. It is highly necessary to improve these personalities.
3. The approach of personality development of the personnel of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives can be done according to four aspects based on Buddhism: physical, social, emotional and intellectual aspects. These should be done systematically to change the personality of the bank personnel to be ready for best works based on their roles in the bank.
