Modern Globalized-Capitalist Biomedicine and The Conjured Construction of Human Life and Health

Abstract

This paper need to demonstrate the socio-cultural phenomena of
healthcare system and remedy of disease in the modern global society in
which western capitalist biomedical knowledge plays the extremely
significant influence in defining and determining the condition of human
good life. The considerable conceptual frameworks that used to analyze
this occurrence of global health system are consisted by Marxist theory,
pluralism and biopolitics that attempt to criticize the culture of health in
different perspectives. These theoretical concepts will be revisited and
reconsidered how “good health” and “happy life” are discursive
explained and determined.
