Development of Excel VBA Employee Revenue Processing Program in Oil Establishments

Abstract

        This research objective were 1) to study the problems of traditional revenue processing and requirements of human resources in oil establishments 2) to design and develop a revenue processing program with Excel VBA for solving traditional revenue processing problems and 3) to assess the performance of a revenue processing program. The sample group used for this study is the Human Resources Department of 3 oil business establishments in Khon Kaen Province. First step of research collected requirements data and problems of human resources in revenue processing and expenditures of all employees by interviews. Next step take the data obtained for analysis and create a program with Excel VBA. Then test the functionality and analyze operations with users to improve and finally test the actual data and assess the effectiveness the revenue processing program.
        The results showed that the developed Excel VBA program solves operational problems more efficiently. Meets user requirements. The overall average score from the evaluation of efficiency at 4.47 is at a high level. It also reduces the time for processing revenue summaries. And annual expenditures from traditional methods accounted for 98.44 percent.
