The Academic Administration in Basic Educational Institutes under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4

Abstract

        This research aims 1) to study problems of the academic administration in basic educational institutes under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 and 2) to study of a guideline for the academic administration in basic education institutes under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. The sampling group included the basic educational administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 for 124 persons. The research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire and the data analysis tools used percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
        The results showed that the general problems of the academic administration in basic educational institutes under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 was at a good level sorting by an average from most to least which included development of institute curriculum, development of learning process, development of educational media, innovation and technology, the internal supervision, and measurement and evaluation of the academic administration in basic educational institutes under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4.1) As for the development of institute curriculum should appoint the working group of the institute curriculum administration. 2) As for the development of learning process should arrange the student-centered learning plan and manage the environments. 3) As for the development of educational media, innovation and technology should encourage and provide the educational media materials and technology. 4) As for the internal supervision should build awareness, knowledge, and understanding to teachers and concerned personnel in the supervisory process; appoint the committees to clearly define the duties of supervisory process. 5) As for the measurement and evaluation should appoint the committees manage clear assessment and evaluation; determine the rules of the measurement and evaluation according to the institute curriculum.
