The Guidelines for Promoting the Student Affairs in Accordance with the Four Saṅgahavatthu-dhammas of Students in School-Specific Intellectual Disability under Bureau for Special Education Administration 4

Abstract

          The objectives of this research  were: 1) to study the current status of the student affairs administration 2) to study the student affairs administration in accordance with the Four Saṅgahavatthu-dhammas (Bases of Social Solidarity) 3) to present suggestions to promote the student affairs administration in accordance with the Four Saṅgahavatthu-dhammas. The samples of this research included 162 school administrators and teachers, calculated by using the Krejcie and Morgan sampling method. The target group included 5 school administrators and 5 teachers (in total 10), selected by a purposive sampling method. The statistics used in data analysis were: Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation.
          The research results were as follows:
          1) The current status of the student affairs administration in overall is that the administrators and stakeholders analyze the environment, factors, visions  and missions in student affairs, make an annual operational plan and an assessment, supervise and follow up to plan for improvement, The mean score of this aspect was at a high level.
         2) The student affairs administration in accordance with the Four Saṅgahavatthu-dhammas was at a high level of practice. Considering the studied aspects indicates that all aspects were at a high level.
         3) The suggestions to promote the student affairs administration in \accordance with the Four Saṅgahavatthu-dhammas are that 1) education administrators and teachers should use this information to assist in planning, operating, academic management and development to be more quality and efficient; 2) education administrators and teachers should organize seminars on student affairs management, measurement and evaluation and continuous personnel development in student affairs and supervision to learn supervisory skills or approaches, variously following up to help educate and create an understanding of student affairs. 3) The administration should be emphasized by applying the Four Saṅgahavatthu-dhammas seriously and continuously.
