Drought Management Guidelines in the area of Pong Daeng Sub-district Administrative Organization Mueang Tak District Tak Province

Abstract

          The purpose of this research is to study drought management. To compare people's opinions on drought management and to study problems, obstacles and drought management guidelines in the area of ​​Pong Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Muang District, Tak Province, which was a quantitative research. From the distribution of questionnaires of 400 people and a qualitative research. From interviews with 10 key informants, data were analyzed using statistics. The frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test One-Way ANOVA. The findings were summarized as 1) drought management. In the area of ​​Pong Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization Muang Tak District, Tak Province, overall was at a high level. 2) The comparison found that people with different gender, age, education, occupation, income, status had opinions on drought management In the area of ​​Pong Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization Muang Tak District, Tak Province are not different. 3) Guidelines for water management in order to solve the drought problem that occurred as follows: Participation in water resource management of communities and between communities. This is to raise awareness of the community on the importance of water management to tackle the drought problem.
