Propose Guidelines for Community Development According to the Four Sangkhahawatthu Principles of OTOP Community People, Banbokwan, Khamp Bok Wan Sub-District, Nong Khai District, Nong Khai Province

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were; 1) to study the principle of Sangahavatthu 4 in the text of Theravada Buddhism 2) to apply the principle of Sanghavatthu 4 for developing people in Ban Bokwan OTOP community, Khai Bokwan Sub-district, Muang District, Nongkhai Province and 3) A guideline for applying the principle of Sangahavattthu 4 for developing people in Ban Bokwan OTOP community, Khai Bokwan Sub-district, Maung District, Nongkhai Province. This research is the qualitative research by collecting the data from the documents and in-dept interview from the key informants consisting of 25 subjects, in brief, the results of the research are as follows:
          The results of research are found that 1) Sangahavatthu 4 is the principle of human assistance to live together in the society and the community as peace and it is the principle for counting on individual’s mind to create the unity through  charity, giving, sacrifice, kindly speech, spiritual speech, useful conduct, beneficial behavior and others. means to be equal treatment in the public. 2) An application of the principle of Sanhavatthu 4 is used for developing people in Ban Bokwan OTOP community, that is, to develop the life with charity to the others and the society by using the kindly speech, sweet words, sincerity speech, useful speech for own- self and other, participating to create the society for the happiness in order to strengthen the mind for assisting each other when facing the problem and to solve the problem together for the sake of benefits and happiness in the community, good action, and equal conduct, all these will cause the respect for each other, , not to create the problems in the community, to build up the unity in the society, nad it will cause the happiness and progress in their lives and society. 3) The guideline for applying the principle of Sanghavatthu 4 for developing people in OTO community in accordance with generosity is found that people in community originate the activities or create the fund in order to assist people in OTOP community. In the aspect of the principle of  kindly speech through the public charter established by people in the village, the principle of : through the learning activities together and the principle of : to do goodness and benefits for the community as equal. This will create the happiness and progress in their lives and society.
