Development on System and Consulting Media by iThesis 0nline for Postgraduate Students of Mahasarakham University

Abstract

          This research aims to 1) develop a suggestion media of the Integrated Thesis & Research Management System (iThesis) for graduate students 2) study the user satisfaction on the developed media 3) Analyze the efficiency of the developed media. The sample group according to purposive selection for this research was 50 graduate students of Mahasarakham University. The tools used in this research were 1) the developed media 2) survey form on the demand on iThesis suggestion media 3) Evaluation form of the developed media for experts 4) Evaluation form of satisfaction level on the developed media. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation, post observation effectiveness analysis.
          Research findings were as follows: 1) The developed iThesis suggestion media is a multimedia containing messages, visuals and videos describing and advising the content of the iThesis system by using a 2D cartoon animation as a describer and the developed media is published on https://grad.msu.ac.th/ithesis/. 2) The evaluation results by experts of the developed media revealed that the media contents and the design in overall and in details were suitable at the highest level. For the media design, the highest, the second, and the third average values were visuals and characters, system usage duration, and sound and language, respectively and 3)0 The media users in overall and as categorized by doctoral and master degrees were satisfied with the developed media at a high level. For the four aspects considered in this study, the highest, the second, the third, and the fourth average values were usage, content, explaination, and media design.
