Family Planning Policy

Abstract

          This academic paper aims was to study family planning policy which consists of evolution of family planning policy, reproductive health situation, teen pregnancy, impact on society, inaccessibility of contraceptive services, and infertility. For family planning policies in Thailand started in the past by applying the principles of contraception first to control the rate of population growth that will affect the balance of society. Later, when teenagers in the 1970s had thought single life until rate of population growth to decrease dramatically, the Thai government therefore changed the policy to focus on promoting the quality of the population on promoting quality growth of the population of Thailand, because now Thailand is facing the problem of low birth quality teen pregnancy inaccessibility to contraceptive services as well as other social problems related to low-quality births in line with current government policies  related to the Ministry of Health about improving the quality of public health services and public health, prevention and solution of teen pregnancy, and medical problems the ethics of surrogacy, and organ transplantation including stem cells.
