The Success Assessment of Family Planning Policy Implementation

Abstract

          This academic article aims were 1) to study family planning policy, 2) to analyze family planning policy, and 3) to suggest solutions to family planning problems which consists of family meaning the importance of family, desirable Thai family characteristics, problematic conditions, and the 8th national economic and social development plan are of great importance. It is necessary to follow study, and monitor trends in family institutional changes in the future in order to be able to operate in the proactive dimension, emphasizing on development and prevention of problems giving more than solving problems as it was in the past and present in general single family characteristics will be more and more, and there will be a variety of single family characteristics or having women as heads of family, and children due to the abandonment or separation of the husband's occupation as well as there may be children who have to live alone without parents or adult relatives. Relationships between family members will change between a man and a woman, husband and wife, parents and children or adult relatives and children with changing roles due to changes in economic and social conditions. It is necessary to develop a social welfare system especially in terms of family welfare to be appropriate and in line with the conditions, conditions and factors of Thai society.
