Water Management of KhwaeNoi Bamrung Dan Project for participatory agriculture in Ban Yang Subdistrict Wat Bot District Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study the 1) level of the water management of Khwae Noi Bamrung Dan Project for the participatory agriculture 2) compare the personal factors to the water management of Khwae Noi Bamrung Dan Project for the participatory agriculture and 3) guidelines for the water management of Khwae Noi Bamrung Dan Project for the participatory agriculture. This research applied the Mixed Methods Research with the Quantitative Research by collecting the questionnaires from 344 households from the calculation formula of Taro Yamane and the Qualitative Research by the in-depth interviews from 9 key informants. The statistics used frequency percentage mean standard deviation t-test and F-test The data analysis used the content analysis and the interpretation. Results of the Research 1) Overall the level of the water management of Khwae Noi Bamrung Dan Project for the participatory agriculture was at the high level. 2) The people having the different genders ages education occupations income and duration in living had no the different opinion to the water management of Khwae Noi Bamrung Dan Project for the participatory agriculture. Therefore the hypothesis was denied. 3) The participative water management of the public sector and the people. It should build the mechanism in the working group to make the awareness together by sitting the goal direction and the plan for working integration to make the clarity of the role together in the discussion forum and have the evaluation system of the projects by the committee as the main mechanism in the water management  in the area clearly.
