The Development of Spelling Activity with Brain Based Learning and Vark Model for Prathomsuksa 1 Students

Abstract

           The objectives of this research are 1) to develop a Brain-Based learning management plan along with the VARK Model to improve spelling abilities. for Grade 1 students 2) to compare the spelling skill of Grade 1 students by using Brain-Based Learning along with VARK Model during pre-study and post-study and 3) to study the satisfaction of students towards learning management. The target group is Grade 1 students at Ban Nong Makang School. (Jang Anusorn) Phitsanulok Education Area District Office 3, studying in the second semester of the academic year 2021. Nine students were obtained by selecting specific target groups. The research tools are 1) Brain-Based Learning Learning Management Plan along with VARK Model 2) Spelling Ability Test and 3) Student Satisfaction Scale towards learning management, the statistics used in the data analysis are mean, percentage, standard deviation, and t-test dependent.
          The results show that 1) the Brain-Based learning management plan along with VARK Model is appropriate at the highest level ( =4.68, S.D.=0.53) 2) The spelling skill of post-study is significantly higher than pre-study at 0.5 3) the students give the highest level of satisfaction after the learning management based on Brain-Based Learning along with VARK Model(  = 2.88, S.D.=0.06)
