The Implementation on Development of the Teachers for the Characteristics in the 21st Century of the Academic Administrators under the Office of Phichit Secondary Educational Service Area

Abstract

          The purpose of this research was to study the implementation of teacher development to have the 21^st century characteristics of school administrators under the Phichit Secondary Educational Service Area Office. Sixty populations appeared in this study , consisted of thirty educational institutes by choosing a group of informants consisting of thirty educational institution administrators and thirty academic supervisor teachers under the Phichit Secondary Educational Service Area Office by Purpossive sampling. The tool of this research was estimation scale questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean (m) and standard deviation (s).
          The results showed that implementation of teacher development to have the 21^st century characteristics of school administrators under the Phichit Secondary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level (m = 4.47). Considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was teacher development implementation (m = 4.58), followed by teacher development targeting (m = 4.57), and the aspect with the lowest average was in the preparation of teacher development plans (m = 4.35).
