Abstract

          Leader skills are very important, especially for the future leader in the era of changing that faced with the inevitable serious competition. However, the ways to increase skills of leaders are varied and depending on the characteristics of each leader. Organizational development would be according to mechanism and administrative processes, more or less depends on the leader. The leader is an important factor in driving the development of the organization and is the brain to work with the people in the organization. Only knowledge and ability to develop organization are not enough for leader to effectively administrate the organization.
          Therefore, leaders should rely on knowledge and understanding of the following: leader qualifications, leadership or being as a leader, by enhancing good leadership skills and future leadership skills to be as an indicator of trust, confidence, obedience and genuine cooperation of personnel within the organization to be used as a guideline for the development of future leadership behavior towards organizational development management.
