The Studying of Communication Skills for Careers of Vocational Students by Using Blended Learning With a Miap Instructional Approach

Abstract

          The objectives of the independent study were 1) to investigate professional verbal communication skills of vocational students by using blended learning with  a MIAP instructional approach with 70% criteria. and 2) to explore the satisfaction of students towards blended learning with the MIAP teaching method to enhance professional communication skills of vocational students. The samples was  3rd year in power electrician in the second semester of the 2021 academic year at Phrae Technical College, Phrae Province. through Simple Random Sampling using lottery methods. The experiment took 12 hours. The research tools for gathering the data were the lesson plan of the blended learning with a MIAP instructional approach, communication skills for career assessment and satisfaction survey towards communication skills of vocational students’development by using blended learning with a MIAP instructional approach. The statistical analysis were the average, standard deviation and T-test.
          The results of the research showed that
          1. The analytical communication skills for career assessment by using blended learning with a MIAP instructional approach after learning higher than the 70% criteria with statistical significance at the level of .05 level.
          2. Student satisfaction towards using blended learning with a MIAP instructional approach showed the highest level of satisfaction with the learning process.The average score (x̄) of 4.56 and the standard deviation (S.D.) of 0.16.
