Assessment Report of the Project to Promote the Literacy Potenrial of Students in Grades 1-6 Using the Kurusapa Model by Kurusapa School Under the Kanchanaburi Primary Education Service Area Office 3

Abstract

          The objectives of this report were to assess the literacy promotion project of grade 1-6 students using the KURUSAPA MODEL and to assess the satisfaction of teachers, school committees, students and parents towards the implementation of the project to promote the literacy potential of students in grades 1-6 using the KURUSAPA MODEL by Kurusapa School under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 The target groups used in the assessment were 275 of samples including teachers, school committees, students and parents, obtained by purposive sampling. The research instrument consisted of 2 questionnaires, with 5 levels of estimation scale. First questionnaire had a content validity of 1.00 and reliability of 0.98, and the second questionnaire had a content validity of 1.00 and reliability of 0.97. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation.The assessment results indicated as follows: 1. The overall level of assessment of the project to promote the literacy potential of students in grades 1-6 using the KURUSAPA MODEL by Kurusapa School under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was at the highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the assessment had the highest level of performance in all aspects.  If ranked in order of averages, the output aspect had the highest average, followed by the environmental aspect, the process aspect and the input aspect.2.The overall satisfaction assessment of the project to promote the literacy potential of students in grades 1-6 using the KURUSAPA MODEL by Kurusapa School under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3  was at   the highest level. When considering each item, it was found that the assessment had the highest level of satisfaction on all items.
