The Development of Additional Course of Padoongrasdra Suksa on Social Studies Religion and Culture Strand for 4th Grade Students

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were 1) to construct and find the quality of Additional Course of Padoongrasdra Suksa on Social Studies Religion and Culture Strand for 4th Grade Students, 2) to study the try-out outcome of the curriculum by comparing students’ achievement after learning with the curriculum with the criteria of 70 percent of the total scores and to study their satisfaction towards the curriculum.  The samples were 30 students of grade 4/1 students of Padoongrasdra Suksa School who are studying in the first semester of the academic year 2022 by cluster random sampling.  The data were collected by employing an achievement test, and satisfaction evaluation form within 20 hours and analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One sample t- test.
          The findings were as follows:
          1) The additional Course of Padoongrasdra Suksa on Social Studies religion and Culture Strand for 4th Grade Students was comprised of principles, objectives, course description, learning outcomes, curriculum structure, five learning units as Padoongrasdra unit, Jesus Christ unit, Padoongrasdra’s way unit, Muang luang Cooperation unit, Fine manner unit of Padoongrasdra; trends of learning management, media and learning resources, measurement and evaluation, was appropriate at the highest level ; the manual of the curriculum was at a high level; the quality of learning plan was at a high level  2)  The students’ achievement after studying with the curriculum was higher than the set criteria at 70 percent significantly different at 0.05  3)The students’ satisfaction with the curriculum was at a high level.
