Dhamma Practice in Juladhammasamatan Suta

Abstract

          This article aims to study was found that Juladhammasamadan Sutta was delivered by the Buddha in front of Anathapindika at Savathi. The characteristics of this discourse were narration of Sangka at Savathi. The characteristics of this discourse were narration of questions and answerswith analogy. The content of this discourse mentioned four individual thoughts. The first practice dealt with recent happiness (kama) and attraction to all types of sexuality that caused disaster, and suffering in the hell. The second practice depended upon self-trouble or self-torment that became a main cause or bringing a person to the hell in the future. The third practice was made by a person who was associated with greed, anger, and delusion. He would  go to the heaven. The fourth practice was made by a person who was free from all types of sexuality and unwholesome action. He attained the first absorption including thought, discrimination, rapture and happiness with tranquil mind, one-pointed, rapturous,and happy. He would go to the heaven after death
