Abstract

          The objectives of this study were 1) to compare before and after learning achievement in creative writing using a Synectic model with the worksheets of first-year vocational certificate students and 2) to investigate the satisfaction with learning in creative writing using a Synectic model with the worksheets of first-year vocational certificate students. This study was an experimental study. The sample group consisted of 20 first-year vocational certificate students from 2 groups in the Construction department at Nakhonsawan Technical College during semester 2 of the academic year 2022, using cluster random sampling and the classroom as a randomized unit. The research instruments were used: 1) 4 lesson plans and 4 sets of worksheets in creative writing using a Synectic model with the worksheets, 2) a four - multiple choice, twenty-item achievement test in creative writing using a Synectic model with the worksheets, and 3) a questionnaire to assess students' satisfaction with learning management. The statistics were used: mean, percentage, standard deviation, and dependent   t-test.
          The findings showed that
          1. The achievement in creative writing using a Synectic model with the worksheets of first-year vocational certificate students after learning was significantly higher than before learning at the level of .05.
           2. The students' satisfaction after learning was at the highest level (ð‘ĨĖ… = 4.51, S.D = 0.67).
