Guidelines for the Development of Operation in the Role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, Sai Ngam District, Kamphaeng Phet Province

Abstract

           The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the level of the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, Sai Ngam District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, 2) to compare the personal factors to the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, Sai Ngam District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, and 3) to present the guidelines for the development of the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, Sai Ngam District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. This study applied the Quantitative Research with the Survey Research. The sample was 156 village Health Volunteers (Vol.). The tool of this study was the questionnaire with the 0.878 of reliability. The statistics used Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test with One-Way ANOVA. Research Results 1) Overall, the level of the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, was at the high level. 2) The comparison of the personal factors to the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, found that the Village Health Volunteers having the different personal factors had no the different opinion to the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.). 3) The guidelines for the development of the operation in the role of Village Health Volunteers (Vol.), Nong Mai Kong Subdistrict, found that 1) the Village Health Volunteers should provide the training to increase the skills or the knowledge in the disease prevention every year for the potential development of the Village Health Volunteers, upgrading the Village Health Volunteers and helping the people thoroughly. The related organization should support the budget and the equipment, give the staffs to visit the house of the patients in the community, and provide the learning exchange forum between the Village Health Volunteers in each area to exchange the experience in co-working.
