Factors Affecting the Efficiency of Management in accordance with Good Governance Principles of Local Administrative Organizations A case study of Ban Khlong Sub-District Municipality, Muang District, Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study : 1) the level of the efficiency of management in accordance with the Good Governance principles of the local administrative organizations, 2) the factors affecting the efficiency of management in accordance with the Good Governance principles of the local administrative organizations, and 3) the problems, obstacles and suggestions for the management in accordance with the Good Governance principles of the local administrative organizations. Using Quantitative Research. The sample was 388 personnel from the table of Yamane. The tool of this study was the questionnaire with the 0.864 of reliability. The statistics used frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Multiple Regression Analysis with Enter Method.
          Results of the Research: 1) The efficiency of management in accordance with the Good Governance principles of the local administrative organizations was at the high level. 2) The factors affecting the efficiency of management in accordance with the Good Governance principles of the local administrative organizations  was at the highest level. Then, it was coordinating, reporting, planning, staffing, directing and budgeting. Moreover, the factors on staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting affected the efficiency of management in accordance with the Good Governance principles at 0.01 of statistical significance. However, the others did not affect the efficiency of management in accordance with the Good Governance principles. And 3) The problems, obstacles and suggestions for the management in accordance with the Good Governance principles of the local administrative organizations: A case study of Ban Khlong Sub-District Municipality, Muang District, Phitsanulok Province found that 1) the problems and obstacles were that sometimes, the organizations did not abide by law and regulations for the benefit of the people. Doing the projects and activities had no the responsibility and honesty in opening the information and opening the opportunity in the workers and the people in the local to know, learn and give the opinion. 2) the suggestions were that the organizations should abide by law and regulations for the benefit of the people, promote the personnel having the conscious in working, have the honesty in opening the information and opening the opportunity in the workers and the people in the local to know and learn.
