Assessmentof the Poverty Resolve Project according to the policy of the Ministry Interior Case study, Pho Thale District, Phichit Province

Abstract

           The objectives of this research were 1) toevaluate the poverty alleviation project (KorKor.ChorJor.) in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Interior, through. 2) To study the problems and obstacles in the implementation of the poverty alleviation project (KorKor.ChorJor.) in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Interior, through, using quantitative research methods. This was an exploratory research, where data was collected from the entire population of 363 village committees in Pho Thale District, Phichit Province, using a questionnaire as the tool. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the research were as follows: 1) The poverty alleviation project (KorKor.ChorJor.) in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Interior, as evaluated through was found to be appropriate at a high level. 2) Problems and obstacles in implementing the poverty alleviation project (KorKor.ChorJor.) in accordance with the policy, were identified as follows: 1) Target households who borrowed money from the Poverty Alleviation Project (RD.C.C.) did not pay within the period of the project loan agreement. 2) The amount of financial assistance provided was insufficient to meet the needs of the target households. 3) The committee of the NCCC (National Council for Community Development) lacked knowledge and understanding in implementing the poverty alleviation project (NCCC). 4) The target households did not use the money in a way that met the objectives of the poverty alleviation project (KorKor.ChorJor.). 5) Economic problems and natural disasters caused the target households to be unable to repay the loan within the specified timeframe.
