The Development of Student Activity Information System via Web Application: Case Study Northeastern University

Abstract

          Nowadays, technology is constantly evolving and fast. Whether it is for business use. Data storage, science and education It is also the information age. Encouraging student activities to be held as part of educational development and student activities as part of student affairs, but the process of organizing student activities lacks motivation to participate in activities. Events are sometimes attended by students. This is not purely voluntary. As a result, students do not give full attention and dedication to their physical strength and mental strength in carrying out such activities.
          Objectives of this research were 1) To develop  a student activity information system through a web application: a case study of Northeastern University, 2) To evaluate the effectiveness of student activity information system through web application: a case study of Northeastern University, and 3) To evaluate user satisfaction of student activity information system through web application: a case study of Northeastern University. This research developed a system based on SDLC theory. Experience in information system development or computer technology 200 undergraduate students were randomly assigned research tools such as the Northeastern University Student Activity System and the System Performance Assessment. The statistics used in the data analysis are mean and standard deviation
          The results showed that 1) the development of information systems for student activities through web applications: a case study of Northeastern University can be used in practice. The system consists of 9 main parts: student activity notification system, student activity registration system, student activity notification system, and student activity notification system. Student Activity Information Reporting System Student Activity Calendar System (Staff) Student Activity Management System (Staff) Data Monitoring System (Administrator) and Information Management System (Administrator) 2) The results of the system performance assessment from experts were the highest overall  ()=4.62, S.D. = 0.34)  and 3) the results of the system user satisfaction assessment. Overall assessment results were highest ()=4.75, S.D. = 0.20).
