Abstract

          The objectives of research were :(1) To study music in sports dance teaching guidebook in Tai’an city, Shandong province, the people’s republic of China. (2) To create a guide book for the Sports dance music teaching. (3)To verify the educational guide provided by 3 experts.
          The research methodology was qualitative method.
          Research tools included: Interview form; Sports dance music Teaching Guidebook; IOC form. Descriptive analysis was used for the information of interviewing from three key informants.
          The results of this study:(1) music and dance are inseparable. Music is the sound of dance, and dance is the body of music. The relationship between sports dance and music is complementary, mutual integration and blending. The clever combination of the two makes things more complementary, not only gives the music soul, but also makes the dance equipment with vitality. (2) The dance movement and the rhythm of music is the basis of sports dance training, followed by the understanding and embodiment of dance style. Including choreography of dance movements, rhythm of music, speed of music, as well as music melody and dance style, these are factors that affect the choice of music. (3) It can gradually improve students' level of music theory and fully embody the status of music in teaching activities. Introduce excellent teachers to lay a foundation for better dance teaching effect; To achieve good coordination between music and technical movements, to ensure the rational use of music speed; Flexible use of music change rules, will fully reflect the rule changes.
