Abstract

          The Rural Public Art Project of Yangdeng City, Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China from 2013 to 2023 marks a period of 10 years from the beginning of the community art project until now. The first period (2013-2014) was the beginning of the Yangdeng Public Art Project, which involved collaborative art practices between artists from outside the community. Local artists, artisans and local community members; The second phase (2015-2016) saw invited outside artists gain greater access to the Yangdeng community and use a variety of artistic media; The third phase (2017-2018) is a period in which the artist’s work on projects using a variety of media, often with content that reflects the values of community life and the problems of the elderly in the community. climb; The fourth phase (2019-2023) is a period in which public art projects are suspended during the coronavirus pandemic; And the current period is a time of renewed community development and public art projects with the establishment of a community art association The city art museum was born and issues of public art and community have been discussed at local art academic forums. All of which came from the joint development of a group of artists. Population living in the community Regional organization and independent organizations working together to develop public art projects in Yangdeng's rural areas to be continuous and sustainable in the future.
