บทคัดย่อ

                    บทความนี้ใช้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ ศึกษาวิธีการตีความของราชาราม โมหัน รอย โดยใช้กรอบวิธีศึกษาตามแนวศาสตร์การตีความ จากการศึกษาพบว่า รอยได้เริ่มต้นปฏิบัติการการแปลความหมายด้วยการสร้างความหมายใหม่ต่อหลักคำสอนที่ก่อให้เกิดปัญหาทางภววิทยาทางสังคม ได้แก่การเกิดในระบบวรรณะ วิธีการทางปรัชญาของรอยที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาระบบความคิดคือวิธีการวิพากษ์ด้วยเหตุผลซึ่งมีอิทธิพลอย่างมากในยุคเรืองปัญญา ความสงสัยสากลคือกุญแจสำคัญที่รอยใช้ในปฏิบัติการการแปลความหมาย และปรากฏการณ์ที่เป็นปัญหาการตีความ รอยใช้เหตุผลธรรมดาในการสร้างความหมายใหม่ เพราะเหตุผลพิเศษเป็นพื้นฐานการตีความทางศาสนา ซึ่งเป็นความหมายเฉพาะทางศาสนา รอยเชื่อว่า สารัตถะของทุกศาสนาคือสัจภาวะอันเดียวกัน แต่สารัตถะเหล่านั้นแตกต่างกันเพราะการตีความด้วยเหตุผลพิเศษ ดังนั้น สำหรับรอยแล้วถ้าศาสนิกชนจะเข้าใจสัจภาวะเป็นอันเดียวกันได้ก็ต่อเมื่อตีความสัจภาวะด้วยเหตุผลธรรมดาและต่อเมื่อใช้เหตุผลเพื่อตีความไปสู่ศีลสากลและอรรถประโยชน์สากล

          รูปแบบการตีความของราชาราม โมหัน รอยมี 2 ลักษณะ คือวิธีการตีความแบบเปรียบเทียบต้นแบบ และแบบละทิ้งต้นแบบ การตีความแบบเปรียบเทียบต้นแบบนั้น รอยได้ย้อนกลับไปพิจารณาตัวบททั้งในคัมภีร์พระเวท อุปนิษัทและปรัชญาเวทานตะ รอยใช้วิธีการวิพากษ์ด้วยเหตุผลธรรมดาเพื่อให้พบหลักการที่แท้จริงทางศาสนา ทั้งในการตีความแบบเปรียบเทียบต้นและละทิ้งต้นแบบ สำหรับรอยปฏิบัติการการแปลความหมายใดๆ จึงต้องเริ่มด้วยเหตุผลธรรมดาซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานการสร้างหลักการสากลซึ่งมีเป้าหมายเพื่อมวลมนุษยชาติ รอยเชื่อว่าเนื้อแท้ของทุกศาสนานั้นมีเป้าหมายเดียวกันคือสร้างเอกภาพทางสังคม และมันเกิดขึ้นได้ต่อเมื่อสร้างบนพื้นฐานเหตุผลธรรมดาเท่านั้น

Abstract

          The purpose of this article to study RajaRam Mohun Roy’s methods of interpretation which was used hermeneutical method. From the study found that Roy began interpretative practices by creating new meanings for doctrines that pose problems in social ontology, such as birth in the caste system. Roy’s Philosophical method used in development of the system of thought was the rational method that was significant influential in the enlightenment. Universal doubt is the key that Roy used in interpreting operations and phenomenon problem. Roy used common sense to create new meanings because special reasons are the fundamental to religious interpretation. Roy believes that the essence of all religions is the same truth but they differ because of their interpretation from special reason-reason in religion. Therefore for Roy, if the religious people can understand the truth as the one only if it is interpretation with the common reason and only if used its reason to interpretation it as universal morality and universal utility.

The interpretation of RajaRam Mohun Roy has two types, namely, typological interpretation and throwing interpretation method. This typological interpretation, Roy went back at the ancient text – Vedic scripture Upanishad and Vedanta philosophy. Roy’s uses a common rational critique to find the true religious principles in the comparative and throwing interpretation method. For Roy’s, any interpretation operations must begin with common sense, which are the basis for the creation of universal principles aimed at all mankind. Roy believes that the essence of all religions has the same gold of creating social unity, and it can only happen if it is built on the common sense basis.
